Celebrate the Winter Solstice. Join us on the shortest day of the year for an energy awakening and balancing practice.
Working with breath and awareness of the energetic centers of the body (chakras), we will flow through salutations, backbends and heart openers working up a sweat and detoxing out that which does not serve us.
Winter Solstice Energetic Flow
Room will be heated 80°. We will flow through various poses working up a sweat, and then move into deep stretches before moving into savasana (final relaxation). Come to class hydrated, with a towel and with open hearts and minds.
One half Flow – One half Deep Stretch
Suzanne Teague, RYT 500 will guide you through an energetic flow, while Mary McMahan, RYT 500 soothes the body with long slow and deep postures while both jump in to provide yummy adjustments.
