Hot Yoga: Heated to 100 deg. and over. Be prepared to sweat! Intermediate to more conditioned practitioners. Hydrate before class. Bring water and a towel. Beginners may attend if they are use to heat and moving dynamically. Truth is, you will develop a sense of being with the heat, even if you are not use to moving in a temperature of 100 deg. First hot class will be a challenge, regardless of your involvement in other activities. Remember, the goal is to make PROGRESS, not be PERFECT. The Primary requirement is ‘commitment”. Warm Warrior Flow: Looking for a warm powerful flow to end the work week? This class will bring some heat, but at the same time, relax the body and mind into the weekend. Class will begin flowing and move to the floor to end. And, of course, a nice long relaxation! The space will be a cozy 80-85 deg.
Warm Community Yoga: ALL Levels. No experience necessary! Fun for EveryBODY! This class will rock your soul, be prepared to work and play! Space will be heated to 85-89 deg. You will sweat! Change is possible, FUN is guaranteed!
Wake UP & Flow: Wake Up & Flow is exactly that, a class for the Early Birds! Be prepared to move and stretch the body to the rising of the SUN while everyone else sleeps. Leave feeling energized and ready to face the challenges of the day! See you at Sunrise! Temp. will be around 75-80 deg. 5:45AM!
Warm Flow & Stretch Yoga: Looking for some flow AND stretch AND heat? This class will wake the body in a healthy, happy way! Half flow postures and half long stretching postures on the floor in a warm space. Beautiful relaxation at the end. No experience necessary, an all levels class. Warm space 80-85deg.
Guided Meditation: NO experience necessary. Relax and renew. Leave the past and future behind and practice dwelling in each present moment, BE HERE NOW. Chairs available, no props available. You’ll likely enjoy bringing your own props if meditation becomes a regular practice. Cool Space, 70 deg. No experience necessary. Taught by Dr. Richard Carlton, by Donation!
Beginner Yoga: The PERFECT class for the newbie! Detailed instruction and slow non-demanding poses. No inversions offered. Great for any body type and any age. Space will be 75 degrees.
Community Yoga: Beginner to advanced. No experience necessary! Temp around 82-85 deg. Fun is guaranteed! Sweating will probably happen. All levels class.
Restorative Yoga: (Currently not on Schedule) Relax, renew, and unwind. No standing poses – just melting into the mat with the support of bolsters, straps, blocks, and eye bags. Cultivate the art of letting go. It’s like being asleep while you’re still awake – that relaxing! Wonderful for all levels of practitioners. COOL space, 70-75 deg. No experience necessary.
Warm Sacred Stretch: 8pm! Hey Night Owls, this is the class for you! This class will focus on opening tight hips, hamstrings and shoulders on the floor. Everyone needs this! Open hips and hamstrings are the gateway to moving into every posture as are spacious shoulders. Simply stretch the day away! The studio will be moderately warm. Practitioners, beginner to advanced will benefit from this class. No experience necessary. Temp around 80 deg.
Long, Slow, Deep: Exactly what it says. Long holds, slow movement, moving deep into tissue and muscles. Perfect transition into Restorative yoga or an equally as perfect warm up to a dynamic class. Studio will be around 75-80 deg. No experience necessary.
Just Core: Just Core is for everyone, any age, sedentary to athletic. It is for people who are strong or weak, flexible or inflexible. It is a tool to educate the body to have better posture and move in a more efficient way. Just Core is for those who want to look and feel better. It is for those who strive to function at an optimal level, pain-free. Just Core is for those who seek balance in life, wanting to change their lives for the better by enhancing the mind while strengthening the body. Just Core is for anyone and everyone! No experience necessary. Temp is cool 70 deg.
Sunrise Yoga: Wake up with the Sun! Energize your body, mind and spirit. Move into your day with harmony and peace. This class is for ALL levels, beginner to advanced. Cool space, 75-80 deg. No experience necessary 5:45AM!
Mysore/Self Practice: (Currently not on schedule) This practice is self guided with NO teacher present to assist. There will be a cheat sheet of the primary series for new students to the practice. You may drop in any time during the two hour practice. There will be a student there to check you in and take payment. The space will be a cool 70 deg. as body heat will build. Even though you may drop in at your convenience, it is always a good idea to arrive at the beginning of class if possible. A great practice for a seasoned Ashtanga practitioner. Beginners ARE welcome!
Mysore/Teacher Assisted: (Currently not on schedule) This class is a traditional, lineage-based Ashtanga yoga practice that builds sequentially in terms of flexibility and strength as you progress through the series. This practice is self guided with a seasoned Ashtanga yoga teacher present to assist. There will be a cheat sheet of the primary series for new students to the practice. You may drop in any time during the two hour practice. There will be a Teacher there to check you in and take payment. The space will be a cool 70 deg. as body heat will build. Even though you may drop in at your convenience, it is always a good idea to arrive at the beginning of class if possible. A great class for those beginning a Mysore practice.
Open & Flow Yoga: Come focus on being present whether sitting, standing, twisting, bending, or flowing, this energetic class supports the continual development of strength and grace, using breath awareness to connect the heart and mind with the body. As best you can, open your heart and be at ease not only in the asanas but also in the movements that connect pose to pose. Any yogi is welcome to join!! Temp 75-80 deg.
Presence, Purpose & Peace (morning stretch): Begin your day with long, deep stretches in a comfortable space, heated to 75 deg. Move into the present moment with purpose and peace and take the mindfulness you cultivate out into the rest of your day. The perfect way to begin your day! This is a class for EveryONE! No experience needed.
Lunchtime Slow Flow & Stretch: Join us for a relaxing stretch with easy going slow flows during lunch! Great for beginners and suitable for any yogi who desires a tranquil yoga experience. Use your lunch hour for health and rejuvenation. You will be SO happy you did. And, don’t worry about the sweat, temp will be a cool 75 deg.
Warm Sacred Stretch: Warm sacred stretch is a great midweek pause to temper the daily grind. Join us for a night-time practice of slow warm stretches suited for sunset and sundown. Extra attention will be given to the lower extremities to help your body settle into a good night’s rest after practice. A practice for EveryBody. 8pm!
Slow Down.Pause.Reset: This mid-morning practice will set the pace for the entire day, allowing you to simply slow down, take a breath, pause in your moment, and reset your way of being. The temp. will be comfortable, 78-80 deg. and the class is for EveryBODY, beginner to advanced. Join US!
Wednesday Warm-UP! Wednesday Warm-UP is a class designed to connect breath, alignment, and mindfulness with foundational yoga postures in a warm environment. Need a little extra energy? This is it! You can expect a playful approach, as we explore fundamental standing, seated and lying poses in 80-85 deg. This practice is suitable for beginner through advanced yogis. EveryBODY is welcome!
Yin & Yang Yoga: This class is perfect for any level and for anyone looking to have a mixture of postures, with both power movements and seated deep long holds. The first half of the class will be slow power yoga, with standing postures and some core and the second half will be long deep holds, all seated. And, of course, relaxation to end! The space will be heated to 75-80 deg. not hot, not cool, just right!
