A healthy and vital back, as well as strong open hips are key to a long, happy life. With chronic back pain reaching epidemic proportions in the U.S. and hip replacements becoming the norm, a gentle, natural, effective means of finding relief is essential. For back pain sufferers and sufferers of tight hips, yoga can bring lasting pain-free results. For everyone else, yoga can create and maintain a strong and flexible back and strong open hips, promoting an active lifestyle for all.
This back and hip care experience will be offered in three parts: 1) lecture (let’s explore the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral vertebrae. Let’s explore the hips) 2) gentle back care poses and 3) poses for the hips. We will be using props, blankets, straps, chairs, and walls. Limited to 25.
